Will we still make the finals?!?

Never started a thread before but I thought this was a half decent topic.

We were sitting pretty and now we are sitting sixth. Raiders and panthers I thought would be easy scalps but after sunday I'm not so sure panthers will give the two point up without a hell of a fight. Then it's warriors away, Newcastle away, Bunnies at home, Storm away and Cowboys at home. That's a solid run into the finals. I think we need to win at least three of these games so that we go into the finals oozing with confidence.

The answer is who knows with the Sharks. I won't be suprised if they screw it up from here to be honest

Thought I'd give my own version a go.
I'll be pissed off if things fall apart from here but the teams that are 7th to 13th have got a few wins in them which means we need to get our **** together starting this weekend.

If you look at the draw, I'm predicting we get 2 points this weekend and then that's it. We'll finish 9 or 10. It's a shame but hopefully with the new buys and another season of first grade under flanno's belt they can really challenge next year.

Nope. I'm not even that upset by it to be honest, after yesterday's effort I can't honestly say with a straight face, that we are deserving of a finals berth.

Once Jez and Gal are back to settle things down I'm confident we will get it together. Hitting form again leading into the finals will make us a monstrous pain in the arse for all the other teams in the top eight.

I like our hard run home. If you can't beat those teams going in, whats the point of playing in the bloody finals?

should have gal and smith back this week, which make a big difference and gardner in 2-3 weeks will also add to our attack.
i think we make the 8 and still a chance to make the top 4. i think we make 8 not so confident about top 4.

We have 6games left and are on 25 points imo we need mid 30's to get top 4 .3wins keep us in the 8. 5 wins get us in the 4 but like gando said 1 game at a time . Lets smack panthers first .

I now think we will make the 8, not sure on the position, at the start of the yr I thought we would finish around 8-12 spot (I think), we have let a real good opportunity go in the past 3 weeks, that being said we our current squad if we did make the top 4 it would have been an over achievement anyway.

Im trying to convince myself we are in the origin hangover still, look at the storm, broncos, manly etc, the only consistant team over the origin period & after is the dogs

I just did the ladder predictor on the NRL website and I have us finishing 7th and playing Manly first week of the semis.

28-30 points gets us in the eight, i think we will finish on 31 and go in 5th.

Play like they did last w/e, they won't make the 8 & don't deserve to be there. 1 point from the last available 6 against 3 teams outside the 8 is hopeless at this stage of the year.

Need to beat Penrith & then it's really a matter of week by week.
