I’m not saying his form warrants origin selection.
Just saying Qld literally have no centres.
Capewell won’t play there again, he’ll go to the bench. Gagai has a potential broken hand.
Out of what’s actually available for Qld they may have no choice but to recall chambers.
Only other centre options from memory are Mann, Sami, Lee, O’Neil. Slim pickings unfortunately.

Opacic is playing really good footy. So is Mbye. Problem is that Qld are obsessed with picking from the same teams or just picking guys who have been there before regardless of form/position.

yea he actually made some good reads and decisions on when to jump out of the line to shut a play down but just couldn't effect the tackle completely but at least it slowed the ball carrier down for a bit . his decision making in defense prior to last night has been quite bad at times for us so hopefully he is getting used to the pace and timing again and can keep improving those areas , he is improving every week and has barely played a month or so of NRL since his return . he really was out of sorts the first 3 games or so.
so basically adopting the old NSW selection policy then

Chambers is a proven champion.
Has won competitions and Origin series’.
Selection isn’t out at all…
I still find it a bit of a head **** he is now on our roster.
But I’d also re-sign the veteran. It’s a no-brainer.
