We don't need Cronk. I'm more than happy with our halves at the moment. Carney is the first true superstar we have had in a while and Townsend/Graham and Kelly make give our halves talent and depth. Our glaring weakness is outside backs and any recruitment outside of there is a waste of cap space IMO. We will never land a big name back with the way we are going. The key is to either develop one or identify one and make him an offer he can't refuse.

I think he could and I hope he does. Toops played some nice games last year. The game against the dogs was a good game by him. But if he has another average year I think its better to bring bird back who I think will play allot better for us then he has been for the tits

Don't sign tupou unless he miraculously becomes a rep player again. Go hard for bird who is a top tier player and who actually wants to be at the sharks.
