Wow... simply WOW!!!

Im sorry but the guy had like the worse second year syndrome since Mortimer, Injury or not if "Big Boy" cant get back to his form at the start of last seasons. Cya mate, we need to get into the Brisbane Bronco mentality if your good half the time.... find a new club champ.

I always thought Toops was best as an edge back rower. But yeah he seems to be better when he's heavier now. Maybe a prop that can run wide as well would be a good idea? Reckon he has the ticket for the props?

No. He was just too light to be playing in the forwards. The extra weight makes him a better edge player, not a worse one.

He was 130kg when picked up my Beetson for the Roosters, was moulded as a wide runner at around 110kg in smaller bursts covering frontrow and 2nd row, the Sharks tried to turn him into a 100kg, 80min player (mainly I feel because of the loss of Bird and Anderson) IMO it hasn't worked well, and he should be used the way that got him his rep jumpers. Now that we have a heap of depth it makes sense to go back to what worked...
