Brenko Lee, Bevan French, Josh Cleeland, Tepai Moeroa/Manu Ma’u... I’d give them all a shot
Brenko maybe if he could be our 3rd or 4th choice and priced accordingly. Bevan if he was absolutely dirt cheap because he has proven to be electric but high risk. Also not sure what his best position is - think Eels have been pklaying him in Cup as a half?
Did we already have Cleeland and then let him go? I don't really know much about how he's been going.

Ma'u is good enough to start, or at least be paid as a starter and used off the bench, so I don't think we have the budget for him (we have no opening in the starting side for forwards and BHU, Woods & Boogs already established on the bench)

Brenko Lee for sure, had a good skill set, not good at reading defence & had poor tackling technique, get our defensive coach to work overtime with him.

Many Ma’u, big yes.

French feels like the kind of player who would do well in our system

No need to sign back rowers. Wilton will be a top 20 player next year.

Remember also that we have Rudolf on the forwards. Dude can play.

Cleeland is a gun but won’t move to Sydney again unless it’s for a guaranteed top 26 contract. He got screwed by the Bulldogs. It might be a good way to maybe save a few dollars on Capewell’s contract though ...

I’d also sign an extra hooker to play NSW Cup. Even if it’s a Garvey, McIlwrick or similar. We almost got caught out a few weeks ago with both hookers injured.

Hampton would be good for utility value to cover a few needs, but I don’t think he would move to Sydney either. Could see him at the Titans.

I don’t agree with a few of the developments decisions the Sharks have made in the outside backs. I think we could be in a better position for next season if a few decisions went differently at the start of the pre-season.
- Lumelume and Mulitalo are both fun centres being shoehorned onto the wing because that is an organisational weakness. Neither are good wingers
- Xerri is a gun left centre being forced onto the right side
- Ferris is probably the best suited to wing of all four but is playing exclusively centre

We need to sign that Gouging Raiders young bloodnut.Sharks at a distinct comparative disadvantage with no RedHeads in the team.

A goal kicking winger would be awesome.

He’s been average (while his dad battles brain cancer potentially a factor) but Isaako is out of favour, could be an affordable option to bring back but really depends what the situation with his dad is.
