Gal retires after next year so we do need a hard head to take over and it's not like a classy half or back is available sooner so we might aswel plan ahead and once gal retires will have money for a classy back or half . We have a lot of cap space to spend with fifitas unusual running game for a prop we need a hard , straight running forward , someone who will take the tough hit ups

If Jono leaves it would make sense to replace one mongoloid with another.

I haven't seen a close up of Copley but Jono is a funny looking human, re Copley, never rated him before this yr but he has had some decent games this yr, he goes better in the centres more than on the wing.

Improved yes but honestly this is as good as he will get imo. Would liked to be proven wrong (if he becomes a shark one day) but thats just my thoughts on him.

I read Kyle Stanley is off contract, he was a quality player a few years back, centre or 5/8.

Has he turned **** or chronic injured?

Yeah, his knees are shot (Four knee reconstructions whilst so young would do that to most people), in any case he's a bit of a jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none sort of guy; He was tried as a bench utility/hooker for St George at the start of this season, wasn't playing well, so has been back playing NSW Cup for the Cutters as a Lock or something. It would be a high-risk/low-reward signing I reckon.

Extremely slow day at work so i had a look at off contract halves in super league in the top 8 teams. Don't know how good they are, maybe someone else can elaborate if they know anything.

Luke Briscoe (Leeds, 20yrs old. Can play fullback as well) Would'nt mind looking at him, if he's any good.
Sam Powell (Wigan 22yrs old)
Sam Williams (Catalan 23yrs old)
Jamie Ellis (Castleford 24yrs old)
Laim Finn (Castleford 30yrs old)
Rob Burrow (Leeds, 31yrs old)
Kevin Sinfield (Leeds 33yrs old. Can play lock)

There are a few oldies in there but i am guessing they would be extremely cheap. Great for next year, front load someone like fifita and than we go for Hunt for the year after with a bit of extra cash.

We have more cash to spend in our cap than most you would think. Throw a mill at DCE now.
