Just a thought don't know his contract is up but Tyrone Roberts has never looked out of place in 1st grade and he is only young.

I can't believe we would be interested in Hunt. He was to be the Broncos next big thing and he hasn't lived up to it. Withthe trouble in and around the Bronco's halves, if he was any good he would there for them. We have a good half in a similar mould already in Chad Townsend. I think he should be there now, with a view to the the long term future of our halves, providing Carney signs like he said he wants to.

I think we need to invest in a good prop.

Who there is exactly, I'm not sure.

Aiden Tolman off contract?

I think we should be looking at a couple of Front rowers 2 good hard young fellas who can intimidate others with controlled agro in a cleanish way or ball player.

Not sure who ,Souths, Penrith, Worriers,Raider and Chooks seem to have plenty. Maybe we need another centre and a half, again some good talent at the Raiders.

But we must retain Carnage

We definitely don't need to be going hard for tolman when there'll be many other more desperate teams bidding for him. Fifita and gibbs are a really good starting pair so I would like either a young prop who is ready to step into a bench spot or a proven first grader with size who is cheapish and can come off the bench.

On ben hunt, while I have always liked him I don't see him bringing anything to the table that chad doesn't other than the ability to play as a hooker. I get that it would be good to have his versatility to cover for robbo and j mo who might not be here but I can only really see us signing him if chad leaves which I think would be stupid for us to do as it is easier to keep the one that we already have.

Sam williams on the other hand...

I'm am a robbo fan. I don't understand the hate campaigns on this forum at all. He does the job, one of the best defensive halves in the comp and is surprisingly dangerous close to the line and all of that on a small contract.

I would like to see us go with chad or get a top junior for next year but for right now he is performing well.

Apart from the Robbo fan bit, the rest is what I was trying to say.

I'm seeing already how our recruiting has massively changed the dynamic with our starting side(s), and the opportunties to be explored.

Any thoughts on whether we should try and sign this beast?

PRITCHARD IN FIGHT TO STAY AT CANTERBURY
NRL.COM – APRIL 2, 2013
POSTED IN: AIDEN TOLMAN, CANTERBURY-BANKSTOWN BULLDOGS, FRANK PRITCHARD, NEWS

Forward options are strong
Frank Pritchard admits his hopes of staying with Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs beyond this season could be hindered by the emergence of David Klemmer, Josh Jackson and Dale Finucane.

Pritchard is off contract at the end of the year and the powerful New Zealand Test forward is yet to open negotiations on a new deal with the club.

Teenager Klemmer is rated as the best young forward in the game and recently signed a lucrative long-term contract with the Bulldogs.

Jackson and Finucane have both made encouraging starts to their NRL careers and the club is keen to tie the pair down to long-term deals with their current agreements expiring next year.

With James Graham, Sam Kasiano and Aiden Tolman also at the club, the Bulldogs forward options are strong.

Like Pritchard, Tolman is off-contract at the end of this season and the former Penrith player knows he faces a battle to stay at Belmore.
