I'd prefer J-Mo over Price or Barrett but don't have enough info about most of the other candidates.

I'd be happy to sign J-Mo to take over for a year and see what happens. My impression is he is popular with the playing group and has done well coaching lower grades.
My only concern is perhaps appointing from within maybe isn't ideal but as I said, I don't know enough about most of the others to prefer them.

Does he have any interest in coaching (other than the small amount he has been doing with some of our players)?
I do agree he'd probably be great at it but media is the safer job!

J-Mo for now.

As for the actual answer, the answer is "I don't know". Anyone that knows the answer is jumping the gun way too hard. It's an extremely important decision after all. We'd ideally want someone that can coach the current squad without too many changes in the short term and have a chance of success doing so.

I have no idea mate. I just think he really understands the game, has passion for the club and would be great to have around the hookers / halves.

I just realised I accidentally left John Morris out of the poll. Sorry folks. I knew I bloody forgot one, I had 15 spots ready and I only had 14 names, should of known. Admins can you add him if possible?

I was about to say, wheres JMo mate haha. He was going to be my pick but I couldn't find his name anywhere. As for other guys, I'll be happy with Dymock, Ennis or Kimmorley.

Morris and dymock in already as interim. I don't know enough about them to decide but I'd be very happy to give one of the highly rated assistants/SL coaches a job. Demitriou, Holbrook or O'Brien seem to have the biggest wraps around league circles.

Please god no to Johns, Ennis, Fitler or anyone else with **** all experience. Fine with them coming on in some capacity but not as a head coach experiment.

Demitriou has been reported as NRL ready for like four years now and still hasn't made the step up, which makes me not want him. Either he still wants to suckle at Bennett or other clubs have decided against him, but either way I don't want him.
Dymock's name has been coming up for a few years also without actually getting a gig.

Holbrook for mine. He'd bring a fresh approach, and has served a good apprenticeship. Also a good bloke who the media will like (which we need).

Price probably second option.

Least favoured of the rumoured options are Barrett and Ciraldo. We'd have to be crazy to get Barrett when he was complaining about lack of conditions/facilities at Manly, will be tougher here after all the fines.
And Ciraldo didn't do a lot with Penrith at end of the year, just another hyped-up Gus understudy? Plus no way he could keep Gallen in control.
