Flanno aint ready yet and imo it isn't in his interest to play too early. He is the kind of half that needs more reggies experience.

Tapau. Strengthen the forward pack to absolute beast mode. Give the young backs a chance. Even chuck Dugan at fullback and give gray a crack in the centres

AJ will be released
SJ will be released
Dylan Walker was all but signed at the Tigers
Everyonr at Parra is being shopped around, 2 of their players have had lunch with Flanno this week.

We are 1.5 mil under the cap for 2019. Better to make a play and make us better, than finish 14th and have to pay overs to get players to join in 2020

Fair call mate. I’m not that in the know with rumours but I see your point 👍

Who are the Parra players that had lunch with Flanno? I’m assuming one was Gutho?

Judging by the poll and the fact he was being shopped around Mau would be one.

Gutherson and Manu Mau ideal pickups. Backrower and a fb who can play wing or cover the halves. Gutho seems all heart for his team as well. Infact they both go pretty hard.

SJ and Tapau would be my dream pick, but doubt we could fit both in under the cap.

Would love to see Gal coming off the bench and Big Marty starting in the 13. At the 20 minute mark bring on Woods and Gal.

Never been overly impressed with AJ and Dylan Walker is a porkchop.

Agree if we can't get tapau. Would leave us with some left overs to front load contracts or hit the market if someone good becomes available.

Johnson for mine, I believe Walker would add more to our side than Johnston but wouldn't be fussed either way.

Absolutely hate Walker though.

this is a very odd post, very odd

you mean to tell me you wouldnt have nathan brown as gals replacement?

Seeing as Manly finished 15th, does this also mean we wouldn’t take the Trbojevic brothers as well

What happens in the event Val’s NFL dream ****s the bed and he’s ready to line up for us before the deadline? If we spend the money now would we actually be able to pay him to play in 2019?

We would almost definitely only take him back if he was extending for several years on top. If that were the case, we'd just pay him whatever we could this year. It's typical for any mid-season signing.

Would be 'pro-rata' I guess so depending on what if any signings we make it's entirely possible we have enough in the bank to sign Val still, although if he comes back by then he's really admitted it was a terrible decision.

We are under no obligation to pay him what he would have been on this season, pro-rata or not. It'd be a fresh negotiation. We just have first rights, which probably means nothing.
