I bet Jason Stevens in 1998 that if he got suspended again he had to give me a shirt. I caught up with him at the 1999 Carbine Club Grand Final lunch, reminded him again, gave him my business card a few weeks later he delivered a training jersey of his plus a new singlet. I still wear the jersey now.

I won the raffle @ the 1999 sharks grandfinal lunch that included a signed jersey from that year. It's framed on the wall with minor premiers plaque

I would take a stab in the dark and say its for the sponsors to see how their product looks on the jersey. I wouldn't pay anymore than $300 for it.
