Top 4 finish with at least a semi final.

Top four. Barring an ugly injury toll I'm pretty confident it will happen too.

Next year is a big year and whilst we are probably one top quality player short, we are definitely in with a show at taking out the big prize. We need to throw everything at next year because the ageing pack is going to start catching up with us for 2017 necessitating some rebuilding.

After our loss to the Cows I'm very concerned this will happen faster than most people expect. It's the one thing that really worries me next year.

Not a lot of quality outside of the older guys apart from Wade and Fifita. Game should only get faster next year. I'm not confident we'll cope in the forwards as well as expected.

I don't see any reason to be cynical about our forward depth. In that game we lost to Cowboys we had very solid players Prior and Difita not in the 17. All we've lost is Tupou but we've covered him nicely in recruiting. We'll be right.

Bukuya has been average for a while now. He concerns me.

Yes Taga was great for a period. Hopefully he has turned himself around but time will tell. If he has then that helps a lot.

Still too early to tell re JSL but hopefully he turns out the way we hope.

I don't mind him but for what he has shown he is a bit over hyped on this forum, he had a pretty good game against us in round 26 but other than that I cant recall be overly impressed with other games he has played in.

Without looking at number no problem, I take your word for it, I just don't ever remember seeing him play thinking he was impressive other than when he swatted some of our players away with the try he scored.

Top 4 for sure. But it would be difficult to sack Flannagan if we finish 5th to 8th. I'm not going to slit my wrists if we're not holding the trophy after GF day, there are still some teams that are simply better on paper at the moment, but definitely not as many as last year. In saying that if we get a lot of luck, the team is good enough to take advantage. I will be ecstatic with a top 4 finish, also unearthing some new good young guys would be nice. Plus no off-field dramas.

no offense but that attitude is the reason why we aren't successful. If we finish 8th with the team we have flanno should be shown the door. Obviously injuries come into it but if we have a run like we did this year bottom of the top 8 just is not acceptable in my books.

Being happy with no GF trophy is just accepting mediocrity

The thing is we are all kidding ourselves if we think Flano will get the sack, if we were to finish 10th I still don't think they would sack him, maybe if we ran last they might consider it.

5th with current team heading into finals, which as we know probably does not mean a GF appearance. One quality centre and front rower to be recruited in the next 3 months and I say then we can make a GF and potentially win it.

If we somehow snagged Dylan walker, I would be over the moon, rekin we are one out n out gun strike centre from being real premiership contenders.. If we got him we could somewhat cover up being a prop short.... Cmon Dylan you know you want too...

For the amount of time flanno has been given to build this team we should be winning a grand final. Do i think we are anywhere near the level of grand final winners though ? No

That's an admirable attitude, but I'm being realistic. Since when does a coach get sacked after making the top 8? When you factor in the fact that the Cowboys and Brisbane are way ahead of us at the moment, not winning the trophy isn't as much as an abysmal failure. Making the Top 4 would a brilliant achievement on its own. But I highly doubt that Flannagan will get booted, or deserves to be booted if we finish 5th to 8th. If we finish 9th to 16th, that's unacceptable and should get the boot.
