exert from Stephen Larkham's World Cup Diary:

"I remember once at training, not long before the World Cup, when Wendell brought the ball up from a deep kick-off and ran straight into the forwards who were coming across, stepping past one or two of them. Eddie Jones was upset that they had got in the way. 'What are you doing?' he yelled. 'Don't you know which foot Wendell always steps off? It's the left! Always the left!'"

Thanks Sempa for talking a bit of common sense.

Sure Sailor hasn't played for 5-6 years but that didn't count Rogers who slotted right back into League in his first game for the Titans. Plus Wendell's market value would've dramatically decreased seeing that demand for his signature is relatively non-existant. So he probably wont cost that much so if he is a flop we can just offer him a 1 year contract and if he doesn't perform he can be dropped to Premier League. My point is that if he does come to the Sharks it's a relatively win-win situation and if it doesn't work out no damage will be done.

Personally I don't think Ricky will chase after him because of his age and recent history. I reckon Souths or the Raiders are a shoein to sign him.

im glad your not a talent scout

I heard he's being chased by the West Coast Eagles.

lol, good one:D

I don't think we would sign him, and we shouldn't really, we should be taking a chance on an unknown 20yr old, not a 33 yrd chance.

yeah, it would be a waste of money and as i hav said before he is a disgrace to young guys watching, he was banned for drugs and he shouldn't play again.
