We’re gonna lose probably 5 of our 11 within the next 2-3 years. We’re in big trouble imo.

We banked a lot on Pukovski but I highly doubt he’ll ever come good unfortunately. He was our next Michael Clarke but he’s out.
Who are the 5?

Khawaja (35)

Starc (32)

Warner (36)

Smith (33)

Lyon (35)

Boland is 33 also and Neser is 32. They’re fringe squad members but still have been around the squad now for 2-3 years. Especially Neser.

Then you look at other white ball players.

Maxwell (34)

Stoinis (33)

Wade (34)

Next few years are going to be very challenging for the Aussie cricket team.

Chanderpaul Jr is batting like a 35 test seasoned pro, in his second test. All three test innings he’s shown more resilience then the entire Windies team combined, with the exception of the skipper. He’s going to frustrate the **** out of Aussies for years to come I feel.

Warner is past it, needs to go.

How about this for a stat....Test average at home is 59, away it is 32.

Fraud. Flat track bully.

he's been like that for as long as I can remember, near his entire career. get's out to bad shots flaying out wide too often as well for an experienced opener or they just do him lbw. he doesn't have much footwork. Plus I just think he's a bit of a tosser, looking forward to moving on from him even if his replacement doesn't set the world on fire

Warner throwing away his wicket for not many is a meme at this point

in terms of lack of young quality batters coming through it's not a good reflection of Cricket Australia and grass roots cricket. Either way eventually they gunna have to take a chance and give another bloke a go and hopefully we discover someone good or decent along the way.

I think alot of national teams are struggling due to competition from other sports steering young talented players away from cricket. That's certainty been the case with West Indies but not their only problem by any means - systems, coaching, resources ect. all contribute to a team succeeding or falling by the wayside

but they will just take the wickets of everyone around him, kinda like years ago when Smith was our only good batter getting runs and everyone else was stinking it up and getting out

Yep think it’s time for Warner to go, but with who is the issue.. I don’t follow enough shield cricket to know who is coming through. No point dropping him for Harris, he sucks.

Warner only ever performs in Australia and it’s been that way his whole career. Although even in Australia he’s not doing that much now.

On another note, Langer is a very annoying commentator

His footwork has always been average. That's fine when you're younger and your reflexes/hand eye coordination is still great. Once you age though it's not enough, you need technique.

Like you I can't wait to see the back of him
Go back to your OLED TV.

Some ordinary fielding here, should’ve had this innings wrapped up by now. Warner & Carey laughing after they’ve both dropped sitters does my head in

I shudder to think what the Saffas attack is going to do to him on his current form and in his current frame of mind.
