that was a badly run farce!-should've been over in a month.
i know its a long concept but would love to see it.perhaps they could run it over a year(once every 4 years) involving the 8 top ranked teams with best of 3 mini series concluding with a final series at a neutral venue.

The ICC do kind of run it that way, and rank each Test playing nation based on the previous years performances.

One of your least thought out ideas :p.

You might like to see a Test match World Cup Zak, but the likelihood of that happening is equivalent to Man having walked on the Moon.

Test WC? BUZBet is offering the snowball better odds for his upcoming trip to hell than a test WC ever happening.

The future of test match cricket, IMO, is already on shaky ground. People have attention spans similar fleas, one dayers are too long for the masses, hence 20/20.

People would only complain Australia dominated though. Ungrateful pricks. Go buy a Bangladesh jersey if your so sick of supporting a winning team. Australia's dominance is a problem with International cricket, but its the rest of the teams that need to change (IE get better) rather than Australia.
