What i like most about Wade is his attitude.

Unlike say Braith Anasta who had a cry about not being 5/8. Wade just took it in his stride, happily starting on the bench, or in the pack, whatever. He is in there for the team, not himself. Even Michael Gordon kicked up a stnk for not playing full back, but wing. Wades a club man. He will see out his career with the Sharks IMO, when Gal moves on, its pretty obvious who is being moulded as that leading by example type

Massive game last night. Since he has resigned he seems to have gone to another level. Some brutal defence last night which i never thought he had in him!

I thought it was fitting Wally Lewis giving him the Man of the Match Award. Very Wallyesque Lang Park performance in terms of his toughness, leadership and desire to win.

Yeah couldn't agree more. Not only took it in stride, but re-signed without any real fuss. Then as 85 Sharkie said, rather than take it easy, has proceeded to play his best football last few weeks.

Spot on BWB he has shifted up a level I wonder what's been said to him or its just been off his own back either way he is killing it, anyway how good was last night I am so stoked that they have made it through this time of the year with two wins without Gallen and Carney.

Its says so much about our team.

Loved Graham from the very first game he played for us when he was very raw. You could see he had something special. I remember Gould saying at the time that Penrith were crazy for letting him go and that he would be a future Origin player. I agree.

Surely he won't go for the high shot? I don't mind it being a penalty as I think the head should always be protected, but Hoffman was falling into it and that should be where it ends.

yeh, Hoffman put his head down to burrow through. Graham was already crouched slightly. The onus shouldn't be on Graham to make a split second alteration to his tackle because Hoffman is a dead**** who put his head in the wrong place. If he didn't burrow, there'd have been no high contact, simple as that.

Yeah fair enough a penalty was given as they gave it to alot of others. Inc when Graham got belted by Pritchard. Still think its soft though. Sure he got hurt, but it seems that the head being a no go zone is a joke, and will become another way of milking ****. That was a good tackle, its unfortunate that he hit his head, but had he gotten to his feet, thered be no concern as the try woulda been awarded. But in this case, the ref went to the touchies, they said try, went to award the try, then gave in to the pleading of the Broncos. That is what concerns me, is that refs are basically buckling under the pressure of the whinging team. They are gutless, and thats why 90% of tries go to the video ref, and its exactly why refs are blatantly evening up penalty counts, so that way when tables turn, the ref can say, it was all even on my end

Those Broncos fans are probably the same ones that blew up about the Te'o hit on Groat at the start of the year.

I don't think he'll serve any time. It's very different to the other instances this year. It wasn't a pure shoulder charge. He led with the shoulder and wrapped his arms around to make a good tackle. Nothing in it.

Top game from wade, proving what we already know... that he's a future origin star.

Just think, soon he will be doing that sort of thing week in week out. Very bird/lewis like player.

Phil Gould ‏@gusgould91 Right. On my way to Brisbane. Aboard plane. Last two trips to Brisbane they lost my bag. If they leave my luggage behind in Sydney again....
why do you think that is Gus lol

redtrousers ‏@red_trousers @gusgould91 Always enjoy the call, but disagree with you on the shoulder charge tackles to the head. Graham laid on 3 KO's, no accident.

gould @@red_trousers should we penalize head clash or is it an accident? If head clashes are accidents, why is head hitting shoulder not accident?

redtrousers ‏@red_trousers @gusgould91 3 times has to be a technique issue rather than bad luck. If bad tech is KOing guys, the responsibility is on the tackler right?

gould @ @red_trousers technique looked good to me. I never saw three guys KO'd. You'd be surprised how many times players are hit in head without KO

I Guss is suffering from a bad case of Graham love lol but I do agree on his tweets.

In my opinion If a player is ducks into a tackle like last night then it should not be a penalty as far as I am concerned.

Gus is in fine form there... i mean what is Wade meant to do... grab with his hands. I've watched the game 3 times now, and i am astounded at how well Wade played. Check out that first half again if anyone gets a chance. He was in everything that was good. A 10 out of 10 game.
