my point exactly well said

yep probably right about the weight and spark, that came with massive weight training programme to assist in the recoup of a shoulder op but now the shoulder is travelling well (did u see a couple of his big hits last week) ,hopefully the weight might drop of a bit too. but imo the spark your talking about is more because of the shackles placed on him by elliot. heres hoping:cheers

mate dont mean to be over critical but the game your talking about wade did score the first try set up the winning try and was man of the match. but we might have been watching different games:cheers

I thought I was being quite fair to him. I thought he played well, he just looked out of position- a little uncomfortable in the 7. Yes he did score a good try, but I'm not sure he was MoM, just interviewed after the game by Ch 9.

I like Graham, but he is very very slow, and that's a problem in the halves. You've got to be able to threaten the line, most halves do it with pace and footwork.

graham and tim smith

It would have to be the most likely pairing atm, giving who we have available.

Yeah I agree that 1 big problem we have is our slow halves who don't have a big running game. Haven't watched enough of Graham to comment on him but I don't think Smith has a running game at all.

You look at Carney/Pearce at the roosters they both have pace and a good running game. Then theres Prince at the Titans who has a good running game (across field half the time hahas) and they put lots of doubt in the minds of defenders.

Hopefully Gardner can get more involved because he has an awesome running game.

Do you wanna take a look at smithy's four tries this year? from memory one came from a kick and the other two were good footwork and running them in

Panthers must not want to make an impression in the finals. They're shooting themselves in the foot by not playing Graham.

It's probably obvious, but is the reason he is there because he signed with us.

It seems to be. I mean they have Travis Burns at 5/8, and he's just rubbish in my opinion. Maybe I'm a little bias but he was crap at the Cowboys, crap at the Eagles and he's crap now. I thought Walsh and Graham had a great combo going.

The Panthers seriously shot themselves in the foot earlier on in the year when they re-signed Travis Burns and basically decided he was the #6 for the Panthers future. Leaving Wade unsigned for 2011 onwards was a bad bad decision, as the season played out Wade had developed his skills even more and Burns hadn't got any better at all. That is top notch stupidity by the Panthers front office. But great for us because we have the next Fitler so they say.

Hate to tell you fella's But when Penrith went on there hot run Walsh and Burns were there halves. There record with Graham in the halves is diabolical and thats pretty much why he is not in the 17. But i do agree i think he is guna be real good eventually, again they must put some quality around him or he will be another young player that the Sharks have ****ed.

Lockyer is slow. So he just has to be as good as Lockyer and we will be fine....

ok lads, tell me i wrong & why, i'm gunna be a party pooper & say Graham isnt & will not be the anwser to us, my theory is based on this, is he more of a potent threat than Barrett?, ie, running game, kicking game, organizing etc, imo no.
Yes he is younger & will mature but he is not showing any glimpes of this on a regular basis, i know he has had limited 1st grade game time this yr but think back to last yr when he did play a bit & were any of you thinking, gee this guy is going to be a gun, be honest, in relation to penrith they have recently copped stick for not being creative enough with the ball (to much reliance on kicks for tries).
All i am saying is i cant see our attack improving on the back of this signing, imo we really need to sign a gun centre who we can throw the ball to & get him to create someting out of nothing or atleast get a creative half to go w/ Graham.
The way its looking is we are going to be a gritty team again in 2011 & have to work our backsides off to get tries, i hope i am wrong & there will be nobody cheering louder than me if Wade is setting up or creating try after try for us in 2011 but i dont see it happening.

When Graham 1st started I thought he was going to be a gun. And that's being honest. He's probably just struggling for consistency at the moment because he's in and out of the team and not sure of his place.
