His good form now doesn't make me regret wishing he would move to England three years ago and free up the massive amount of cap space he was using up.

But I'm bloody glad he will (hopefully) be able to go out with a bit of dignity. Even if he did go around again on the cheap and faded a bit at least a retirement wouldn't be on the back of being one of the highest paid props in the game who was lucky to get a run if we had three or four injuries and was becoming a laughing stock around the league.

You can see the body doesn't always wanna keep up with him but he is proving his willpower to keep getting something out of it (at an NRL level)
His brain still thinks he's a 5/8 but his body is putting up a good argument that he's a lock. Hopefully his body wins

You blokes need to add a little grey to the palette.
I'll happily admit that Fitz and Fifita has proved me wrong about Fif playing this year. Not because he's amazing but because we've found the perfect role to give the most benefit to the team. The question isn't if he and Wade should stay or go, it's what role could they fill and add value. Fif's... I tend to think he's better off heading OS while he can. Wade, I'm almost positive now that he has value next year, from a playing and leadership perspective. Just in a smaller on field role and most likely in the middle.
Fifita has added 10x more value then Wade this year if you should keep any of them we should be keeping Fifs - also we are in need of big bodies.

Wilton will be more then capable in replacing Wade especially in a years time

Not sure we'll get the same from him in a year mate, but he's given us some great moments in the last few weeks

I liked the minutes Wade (and subsequently Wilton) got last night

Up until last night Wades tackle % has been quite good

I will be surprised if Wade isn't here next year though he might not get the contract he desires

Wilton is the future but in the now Wade still goes OK and has something to offer but if we cave to big money I will be kinda disappointed in the club cause it isn't necessary IMO

Would love to eventually see Wade and Fifita as trainers the club. Imagine seeing them run out to give the boys pep talks behind the tryline!

As long as they arent carrying water….the guys would die of dehydration before they reached them

Would be entertaining to see Fifs playing the 'Alfie Langer' onfield trainer role.

I'm sure the ref would send him off.

Wade made some really good tackles, very important ones on a few occasions - coaching stuff have done wonders for the defensive side of his game. I don't know what else to put it down to as you would have thought the faster game would have made things harder for him coming back from a long lay off

Might have taken criticism of the use of his Captains Challenge a bit too far this week as I think he kept it in his pocket and never used it or never had the type of decision he could use it on? (don't know where to find stats to confirm if he used it or not). You don't get to keep it for next week Wade haha, prob was worth rolling the dice on something in the back end even just to get a breather

Our players prob a bit hesistant to push Wade to challenge now incase they burn it early but there was some 50/50 stuff that looked worth arguing the point

Should have used it for the shoulder charge

There was no stoppage in play. If the game had ended he could have called it.
Keep up mate, it's simple stuff... ;)
All players will now be told to stay down to earn the stoppage in play. If CT did that we could of challenged.

This is where the game is heading.

Except for high shots etc the bunker will on enforce it if they deem it to be reportable
