Glenn Stewart isn't judged on his impact bending the line. If he were he'd be a dud.

Graham has no raw explosive power. Tupou does and Bukuya used to possess it.

Incisive ball-runners are able to challenge their opponents and puncture the line.

Graham's penchant for running towards the sideline is emblematic of his inadequate physique.

lol just saw your status mate :lmao ha ha

I still disagree on Gragham though, plenty of times he has challenged the line out wide, drawn in defenders or made a half break, got the ball away ect. Perhaps he doesn't have that raw explosive power and yes he needs to run straighter at times but you make it sound like he is completely ineffective out wide which is not the case. I doubt it is to do with this body build or physique, the guy is a bit of a beast - DJ can elaborate further on this last point

Bolded makes zero sense.

Like Stewart, Graham shouldn't be judged on his 'impact bending the line'. He ball plays as well and acts like the left side 5/8 on a lot of plays. Has done since he moved to the back row.

But he still carriers the ball strongly when required. Hes not Tony Williams or Ryan Hoffman but not all good back rowers are built like that. Elijah Taylor, Josh Jackson, Lewis Brown, Alex Glenn and Greg Bird are all a similar size to Wade and have played Test football. None would be described as having 'raw explosive power'. He's quick for a back rower and powerful enough to break tackles. Which he does and he makes a lot of metres doing it. He's also become a strong defender.

He's the least of our problems.

The comparison with Glenn Stewart is spurious. Stewart plays more centrally and mostly before the line. Graham is in receipt of the ball on the far left edge. His impact is negligible. Therefore his ability to bend the line is the primary consideration in judging his performance.

Gallen makes greater contributions to backline movements. That atop of his 30 hit-ups a game.

Tupou, Bukuya and Lewis could sufficiently fulfill his current duties.

Graham is at the core of our problems.

Graham is the best half at the club. We are using him in the wrong position. His playmaking talents have been marginalised. A multifaceted game has become one-dimensional.

A total novice with no aptitude for 5/8th has become a leg braced Forest Gump i.e. Barba

Graham has been effective at times. He does acquit himself adequately.

He's OK in the forwards. He would be far better playing 5/8th.

Graham would be a great lock but no go as a 5/8 his kicking is crappy. Bloody ridicules in this day and age with not one recognised kicker in general play and two weeks into the comp.

Very strategic planning

Graham sucked in the halves when we first got him - he aint built for it and doesn't have the skills ffs. He can kick the ball to the moon, but has sfa control.

He can chime in for a 5th kick here & there, but he aint a half.

A total novice who was one of the best 5/8's in Toyota cup history..................

......and a ***** one in first grade.

I'd be prepared to see how he'd do at lock.

His short to mid-range kicking against the Broncos was decent.

His Toyota Cup and Dally M highlights appear little different. He's a great support player. He's great in open field.

Fullback would maximise those opportunities.

He's not a genuine 5/8th.

How carney used to score plenty of tries at the roosters in similar fashion to what barba scored in that u20s clip. Carneys 2 try assists last week were great 5/8 try assists. He was playing on the left with the half back. Not some one each side crap. He was getting the ball in a position to pass to the try scorer. Dragons used to run similar plays but using darius at fb putting that pass on.

lol. Stewart plays almost exclusively on the right edge. Did for Manly, NSW, Australia. Despite wearing 13.

The rest of your post is just opinion.

Your meant to be one of the old buggers on here but your memory is just fine, Wade was below average in the halves for us but a few handy grubbers in one game and suddenly we have some people forgetting this and asking he be moved to 5/8 or 7 lol. Wade's lack of success in the halves is the reason Robson was promoted from reserves to play first grade alongside Carney in the first place

Wade to lock I would be happy to give a go but other than that, leave him where he is

Short memory is a massive issue around here for sure. People do it with Taga and the back row as well.

Yep. Wade in the backrow works. I seriously don't think he should move into the halves, that's a panic move that will backfire. Wade's kicks have been pretty good, but i don't think he can do it regularly.
