Well Mat Rogers was a RU schoolboy he got the best of the money from both sides but it seems RU are starting to go a little sour on NRL players and I cant blame them beside the new melb side going after players like Thurson Gaz etc but the are all at or coming close to the ends of their careers so as most of you have said who cares.

True, But anyone with the talent to play at Australian level even for union, must have heaps of natural ability and also potential. If we get enough kids with this a number will come through the ranks and become superstars.

lmao matthew wright i thought did well for his first year in NRL playing out of position and in a in expierenced squad up against some of the best centres in the game and didnt get shaded too much he will have a big year

HE'S 18 FFS!, do you not understand the nature of the NRL..you dont represent your country and state at your age level if your not bloody good at it

he went from SG Ball straight into NRL, dont you see how massive that jump is, he went from playing against kids his age to playing against guys like Inglis, Thurston etc..

some people get a 2nd chance at life through surgery etc, you think they should get a 2nd chance?
