There has been some ridicule by some on this forum on Zac Cini but I didn't mind his effort yesterday.

I have no idea if he's a potential first grader but he did his bit, played with energy and tried his heart out.

For me yesterday, Ryan Rivett was a bit underwhelming. I was looking forward to seeing him and with a pack containing Talakai, Hunt and BHU I thought he'd do OK. But our pack did get monstered a bit so that probably didn't help. Seems to have a decent kicking game as well.

As for some of the others, Dykes wasn't too bad but from the wraps I had heard on Stonestreet I thought he was disappointing as well. I know he is only young but seems to need a bit more beef on him, seems a bit too light for a winger these days.

Trindall charged with careless high tackle, 2 game ban with early guilty plea or 3 games if he challenges it and fails.

Pele for shoulder charge, 1 game early guilty plea or 2 for an unsuccessful challenge.

There was more carelessness in Pele than Trindall. **** the bloke hit him more than he got hit.

Was also playing out of position, so it’s a hard to judge him.

Agree

Pele made that high contact all himself with full shoulder. Trindalls tackle went all wrong when the guy suddenly dropped to his knees.
Pele was definitely 'worse' imo. Probably more fair to swap the gradings, although I think that'd jack Pele up to 3 weeks missed.

3wks to kick off and it's already a mess at the MRC.
