Shipped 44 last week, the defence was muuuuuch better this week. Very good defence for a trial game. The attack? I mean Jesus Christ….. there’s a lot to work on.

Really enjoyed that the players gave more of a **** about the result than they probably should of.

Not overly concerned. Brailey only played the first 20 or so...and no nicho obviously.

I was especially enthused with how he tore apart the Bulldogs Cup team at the back end of the game.

Was he any good? I saw a bit of the first half and he was a bit disjointed, kicking wasn't that great it seemed.

His long kicking game was good (that was against their first choice FB).

Apart from the begin of the first half.
His second half kicking was much much better

Some very nice long 40/20 type kicks
Got 1 which we got the ball
Back from and then some long range where our kick chases kept them on their 5 m line

We threw simple shape at em once & walked over. Everyone knows points isn't an issue for us. Tonight was about holding the ball, playing tough & defence. A trial used well. Showing our tricks in attack & scoring 40 would please fans but that's all.

Nice, anyway trials are just glorified training sessions. Dust the cobwebs off and move on.
