I am glad Zappia is gone I won't deny that but hasn't the media done enough damage to us already.

We lost a heap of sponsors last season because of all that stuff and now the media is dragging it up again.

What did we ever do to deserve all this negative publicity?

First they're into Irvine,talking about us being on the verge of folding and now they are dragging this **** up again.

I am just ****ing sick of it.

As far as the sponsors thing goes LG and PKF are ones that come to mind(although I have a sneaking suspicion that they used the scandal as cover for the fact they probably weren't going to renew their contracts with us anyway).

The stuff from 2009 has disappeared... The leak that led to this article happened in 2010 .

There is no evidence to support that LG and PKF were lost sponsors. As far as I am aware the contracts were up, and like thousands of sponsors before and after them, companies eventually choose to not renew sponsorship.

I don't think that this report does any harm to us (probably the opposite actually).

It is interesting that this would surface just as Tony is looking for a job with the Roosters though.

Well we did lose a couple of sponsors due to issues as a few pulled out all at once after the sex scandal and then LG, who was widely publicised as being not happened but was staying on finally did pull the plug and say they would not renew as soon as the Reni Maitua thing came up not very long after. So while I disagree with you there, I will say that none of these were seemingly caused by anything to do with Zappia.

On point... I agree that the few leaks that have occured of late are very concerning and show there may be disharmony within the board, which I am sure will surprise no one.

PKF are still sponsors thia year but i have insider information that they will not be continuing their sponsorship next year.
