I have to admit the sharks pleayed well, quite shockin, they saved the worst game to the end but i think what it really was, was the week off it killed uus and buster not there, it really did hurt

But the sharks did put some effort and the fans there tonight were fantastic i enjoyed the 27,000 screaming sharkies fans :D

But i just cant say anything good about tony arch
He was shocking tonight
He shouldnt be a referee

But thats no excuse for the way the boys played tonight
not the greatest farwell for noddy
but he would have really enjoyed his time at the sharks

Remember....

"One mans defeat is another mans victory..."

"Too really appreciate victory you need to have tasted defeat"

I will be here for the sharkies when the take the flag next year!

You did us proud this year boys!!!

UP UP CRONULLA:cheers

I thought Archer was pretty decent tonight, it was a far more convincing display from him than it was from us, that is for sure...

There were some bad calls against us, but hey, we weren;t at our best and didn't turn up. We had some good opporunities in the first half but our ball handling let us down.

We'll be back next year people, and i tell you what, we all learnt something toinght - no bigger lesson learned by our boys on the paddock!!

Add to that, if you watch it again - Crocker only let go of the ball to get a penalty because he knows he was in massive trouble!!

Storm - forward pass, forward pass after forward pass - one of their last tries was scored off one, offside constantly and grapple tackles.....but in saying that their defence was just too good for us anyway last night and missing Seymour hurt.

Agreed, we can't blame the REF ,we played disgracefully. I did'nt mind so much that we got beat, but the pathetic effort most put in. The only ones really trying were GALLEN, DEGOISE, KEARNEY & MISI. Our props were two soft- ROSS is always used as a punching bag especially by Bret White and LUKE DOUGLAS although always giving 100% plays to squeaky clean. They need to toughen up their play and gain some respect from the opposition, like some of the forwards we've had in the past ( KURT and DANE SORENSON, steve kneen, & LES DAVIDSON). Our new buys for next year- COREY HUGHES- past his prime, although i hope i'm wrong, TRENT BARRETT- over rated show pony unless Ricky can change his style of play and his attitude, ANTHONY TOPOU- will be an asset to the club. Lets hope RICKY can fire up the team and we do even better next year. I'm proud of the effort for most of the year ,so GO SHARKIES- next year.

archer was far from what caused our defeat. he did make some good calls which fly straight past some peoples heads but he had some traditional refereeing shocker calls, but we expect that these days.

How can you blame the referee for that loss ? He was absolutly spot on for 80 minutes and imo deserves to referee the Grand Final.
He wasn't the one who dropped the football countless times in the first half nor was he responsible for our inability to crack the Storm's line.
One stat that pained me: at 55 minute mark we'd had 30 (yes 30!) tackles inside the Storm's 20m for a grand total of... nothing. Nothing to show for. That's where the game was lost.
No blame on no one in particular. But frankly, it never really felt like we were going to score points, did it?

Better luck next year I hope.
Now, if it's a repeat of last year's grand final, I'll find something else to do. Seriously.
Go Warriors.

Were you there? Cause I was. We could clearly see that Archer never once took a look at the offside. The storm were continually 1 1/2m offside all night. All he did was watch the play the ball looking for grapples. Then when thay had the ball because he wasn't concerned with us grappling he had us back 12m. They had space, we had none, we were playing catch up footy and that's not our go. Anyway we live on, always next year as usual.

That's because they were offside mate! How can you score tries when the opposition is standing in your backline. The storm new the refs would be watching the ruck, that's why they played offside all night. Smart coaching crap refereeing!
