I'm OK with the appointment of Greenberg - as Snowy said it could have beeen worse.
What I find amusing is the media having a go at the commission for putting on this world search and paying thousands of dollars to a recruitment agency when the right man was in our own backyard.
Being in recruitment I can well understand them searching far and wide. You need to ensure you aren't missing out on someone better - I don't think it was necessarily the Commission having no confidence in Greenberg they just needed to ensure they didn't miss out on getting someone with better credentials. Finding the right person is all about keeping the net wide and having a good sized pool of candidates to choose from.
