Also playing the Tigers is comparable to NSW cup so fitness wise wouldn't have been much of a difference.

When has a NSW Cup side ever put something like Klemmer Uto Ipap and Bateman on fresh for someone to run at. Even Pole looks like he could be solid. And he started against them, fresh.

It would have been a big difference from last week running at Lui-Toso, Musgrove, Burns, Russell, the less Couchman. That's probably an okay NSW Cup pack.
Swap those five Tigers forwards for the Storm starters they are probably a better side.

If not for the injury. I dare say he would’ve played for NSW this year.
