L.Hewitt just lost his 4th round match at the US open.
A great game to watch going down in 5 sets.

Epic choke again by Hewitt.

Up 5-3 in the 5th and go on to lose 4 straight games to go down 7-5 in the 5th... Shocking.

Yeah i was watching it you could see it coming,

I thought he did all right, Hewitt is ranked in the 100's playing against a player ranked 21.
He just ran out of puff.

L.Hewitt would of had a tuff next round playing against N.Djokovic

Hewitt has become a bit of a choker in recent yrs, he gets very defensive on the big points, not taking a dig at either of them (although I must admit I'm not a Hewitt fan) but who does everyone thinks chokes more Hewitt or Stosur?

I like Sammy but she's loses it upstairs which she has admited in the past. It's a shame because she could probably win a few more slams. Still, good effort to win one. Not too many Aussie girls have done that over the last 35 years.

Agree totally, she has all the shots but doesn't know when to pull the trigger or ease up, the Poo was another, had it all except the brain & he lacked dedication compared to his fellow players.

Tennis - Australian Open

Anyone get into this? For me I'm banking on this and the winter olympics getting me through to the footy season.

Would love to see Rafa wn it this year. Maybe Del Potro is a bit of an outsider if he can be consistent.

Would like to see Na Li with the womans. Real character which is a refreshing change in an era of robotic sportsmen.

Ash Barty looks like she could be a good little player in a few years. Seems to have good ground strokes but needs to improve her serve.

It is so dumb that they continue to play in direct sunlight in such high temperatures. It would be really easy to play games earlier or later, but for whatever reason they refuse to do it, and I think it negatively affects the tennis quality.

And another thing, it is really annoying that in today's day and age viewers do not have a choice of which game to watch when ch 7 and fox sports choose to broadcast the same game. Watching it on the Australian Open website isn't an option due to 'licensing restrictions' and fox sports are not doing viewer's choice this year. I know it is a first world problem, but i had players I wanted to see, but now I can't. Get into the 21st century Australia.

I wondered why I couldn't access that.
