Amazing the hold Rafa has over Fed. As long as his knees hold up I think he'll surpass Fed's 17 slams. He should beat Stan tomorrow which would take him to 14 and he's only 27.

Yep, agree on that, was thinking the same thing last night, Rafa is relentless, Fed is no dummy of a player but jeez some of his tactics on how to play Rafa could be looked at, Rafa has his measure & a lot of that has to do with how Fed plays to him & its not necessarily great play from Rafa that gets him over the line.

Also, if he wins tomorrow he becomes only the second man in history to win each slam twice. Very possible he'll go down as the greatest ever when he retires.

Another sport being ****ed up. First cricket, now tennis.

Tennis tournaments rolled on in Dubai and Acapulco yesterday, but the locker-room chat was all about this coming weekend, when the International Premier Tennis League has promised to stage its inaugural player auction in Dubai.

If all goes to plan, five teams - based in Hong Kong, Mumbai, Singapore, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur - will send their minions to the Oberoi Hotel armed with minimum budgets of $4.4 million each.
