I really hope we can fight our way out of this debacle but IF we were to win the spoon, would it be shameful or quickly forgotten?

Considering the season from hell we've had, I don't think it's as shameful as other teams who've won it previously with less disruption. Don't get me wrong, I certainly don't want it and I haven't given up but I think there's some bloody good reasons out of our control as to why we may end up with it.

This will be the first Sharks spoon in my lifetime, I've already come to terms with it happening. Relegation for rovers was much worse.

It's the last shred of self respect I have about the club I support, the fact that no matter how bad our season is, we are gutsy enough not to finish last. It's the last line of defence I have when other team supporters have a go at us. If we win the spoon, that's it, we'll have no self respect left whatsoever. We CANNOT win this spoon.

Yep, there is no difference between 2nd and 16th, except for the fact you can use it in arguments against a fan of a team below you.
When your in a workplace with supporters of several teams it could make things rather frustrating for 12 months.

Thers always gunna be some smartass giving you crap, usually me.

With today's announcement it might be enough to start their downward spiral. We can't finish on equal points though. Our for and against just ain't good enough.
Name 2 games we can win, let alone if the knights win anymore games

I don't wanna win it, but if it's not us, then who?

Obviously Canberra and Newcastle are the only options.

It's possible that the Knights could totally self destruct after today's events, but I think they will do enough to avoid it. They've already got 4 valuable points out us this season also.

So that leaves the Raiders. I think it's possible that they lose their remaining games. The game against us later in the season is massive. We lose that and the spoon is definately ours.

2 wins for us might be enough to avoid it, 3 wins will definately be enough. But with only 4 wins all season, have we got another 3 wins in us?

For the record I reckon we will win 2 more matches before seasons end.
