Correct. I've said Flanno was stupid to say it. I would like to think it's reasonable to assume that if I was broadcasting something
On the internet that it would not hurt the club. Particularly if I had access to key personnel.
I'm pretty sure this will have repurcussions for the podcasters in that they will probably not be allowed the same
Level of access they have had in the past. That's a shame because the podcasts were a great idea.

I would think the main responsibility would be on the coach not to say something that could hurt the Club, rather than it be up to the two fans running a free, amateur podcast to double check this first grade head coach hasn't put his foot in it.

I agree. I don't blame the podcasters. I blame the club and Flanno. And Gal for continuing the narrative.
Could have been all handed in house. Gal should have just said Flann was mistaken and left it at that.
It's not very professional to have an amateur podcaster releasing information as important as Gals origin retirement (alleged)
Bang - Gal should've been more nonchalant about the whole thing.
He ****ed this up by mouthing off like he did.
Flanno ****ed up by being the worthless germ he always has been.
As a member of the mainstream media I'm absolutely disgusted by Gallen's comments. He should be reprimanded by the club. Newman and Sam simply conducted an interview, it's not their fault the coach dropped a clanger, as a journalist they could made so much more of that comment with follow up questions etc. And for the club to claim it's an internal podcast is just pissweak spin of the highest order.

Newman and Sam didn't contact me or other mainstream media. The Sharks need to learn everyone is part of the media in 2015 and Gallen needs to offer an apology to Sam and Newman and have it out with Flanno behind closed doors.

You would think it would be quite embarrassing for Gallen but I doubt he gives a crap he just says what he wants and doesn't give a crap about the ramifications, he is so short sighted its bloody ridiculous.
