Speaking of assistant coaches Holdsworth clearly got passed over for the Samoa job (if he applied) for Ben Gardiner, but does anyone know if he stayed on as an assistant?

From Parish on leaving:
"
After recently leaving the Samoan national team as head coach, Matt Parish has announced who he believes the right person to be his successor should be.

Parish has revealed that former NRL playmaker and current Cronulla Sharks assistant coach Daniel Holdsworth should be given the coaching reigns ahead of anyone else, including Immortal Andrew Johns, who has confirmed an interest in the job.

This also comes after Matthew Johns shut down the idea of him coaching Samoa, ruling out the possibility. A player with the Dragons and Bulldogs in his playing days, Holdsworth worked as an assistant coach under Parish in last year's Rugby League World Cup, taking over from New Zealand Warriors coach Andrew Webster.

“No one can doubt the footy IQ of the Johns boys but coaching is different,” Parish told The Sydney Morning Herald.

“I don't think appointing someone without club experience has any merit. I think it should be Daniel Holdsworth. He's young and driven. He's in a very good coaching system at Cronulla under Craig Fitzgibbon working with Steve Price and Josh Hannay.

“But the most important thing is that he's been with Samoa at the World Cup and understands the culture. The boys love him and respect him.”

The Herald also revealed that Wayne Bennett was in contact with Samoa regarding the role, but the Dolphins mentor told the publication that he wasn't interested in taking the job on Monday when contacted.

Sorry if someone has already posted…

DT has Pollard, Healey and Rodwell listed as T&T players, plus these two guys.

Jack Gibbons (Sunny Coast) - second row

Jordan Swann (Roosters Flegg) - centre
So we have listed Swann as a centre here but actually moves around a lot
The end of the list will SHOCK you

Where he was named through 2023 Flegg season (jersey number and position)

In the GF he played right edge and the #12 moved to prop.

I said it was where he was named!

From a Flegg perspective it is still a fair move, first few games were wing and finished in a GF on an edge.
Looks like born 2002 so aged out of Flegg. Our Cup depth at edge is quite shallow also, as no NRL squad to drop back there, although with Jensen leaving there may be a few open jerseys in the backs for someone to move into too (14 games last season). Could see him bounce around a bit again.

Do you have who ages out of our Flegg? Thought I'd find it but didn't turn it up.
From a slightly older list
Kade Dykes, Josh Finau, Samuel Stonestreet, Sam Healey, Blake Hosking, Noah Lester, Cody Fuz, Tully Wilton, Jackson Lenzo (still with us?), Douglas Levi (still with us?). Plus missing any who born 2022 but only signed to us last year.

Also, we (loosely) have an Evander Swann via de la salle, potential relation.

Yeah - just helping out :)

Lenzo and Levi are gone. Lenzo was Storm extended squad last year but I'm not sure he got a game. I think Levi went to Souths or Manly.

We haven't signed anyone born in 2022 yet. It's a bit soon to buy on potential with those ones ;)

A lot of the Flegg team is aging out. Without doing a full list, add O'Kane and M Waitere to yours. Also Colquhoun but that's not a problem.

Riolo, T Waitere, Crouch, Wilson, Ataata, Lavender, Dixon, Hardy, Cotter, Cocco, Crossle, Manuofetoa and Jarvis are some of the 2003 born players.

Pollard is still SG Ball aged. Ison and Taukamo still have two years of Flegg eligibility.

No sure about Porima, Barnes, Vea'ila and Foye. Shouldn't be hard to find out but I haven't checked.

Also, we (loosely) have an Evander Swann via de la salle, potential relation.
He was part of our system. There was also William who I think is Evander's brother. Someone on here had William do some work with them but I can't remember who it was.

No idea if those two are related to the new guy,

Damn, 2022 - gotta lock em up early these days!

Okay so actually quite a few guys fighting for backrow in Jets - hopefully someone emerges as a clear, decent NRL backup / future player.
Damn there is actually quite a few spine guys around for Jets too

What is a "likely" full strength Jets...

Tracey
SS
Hiroti
Iro
Rodwell
Atkinson
Puru
Kaufusi
Berrell
THT
Leiu
Pickering
Colquhoun

3 of Uele/Dillon/Dakin/Finau/Fearnley/Hosking/Gibbons/O'Kane/Swann
Healey

Missing out - 6 of the '3 of' guys plus Waitere, Lester, Fuz, Wilton, Slade... between NRL 18th (and 19th) man, plus injuries, and Jets 18th man plus injuries chances are more of these guys than not will have a Jets jersey each week.
Leiu and Pickering the least safe jerseys here, especially with a couple new guys coming into Dev contracts.

Not sure what the likes of Billy Mags, Josh Mansour, Gagan, Lolo are up to either
I'm sure I've missed and forgotten some others!

**** me, I just realised I forgot Moyza! Likely even in a full fit squad him, Atkinson and Tracey would share a lot of the 18th man... presumably most weeks one is 18th man, other 2 are Jets starters.

Wow Dragons Prop 2nd listed was a non starter, in Squads my son was the Prop starter. He's very young, massive rise, good on him.

Is Nathan Brown the most Rugby League name of all time?
Seems to be one in every generation.

Gagan finished the season this year back in Q Cup.

Looks like another one of the coach's sons is coming through their grades as well.

Am sure he'll be popular with their fans.
Hopefully (for his sake) he shouldn’t have the same issue

My understanding is problem wasn’t so much Jake personally for most, but rather how he was being used… like bringing him on at 6 and moving Dylan Brown to centre.
Dumb move and deserves to be criticised.
Always ********s to make stuff online too personal and attack players directly through social media.

Think most fans regretted getting rid of Jacob when Brown was stood down
