With the prop depth if the injury was AFB then we are back at square one. Rookies and small minute players. That's why I wouldn't move any on.

There is quite a lot of money is the middles off contract after this season.
Kaufusi supposedly on 400k. You’d think Williams would be on something towards that. I’d guess around 300-350 but don’t really know.
If Rudolf on 550k then you’d think BHU probably similar & above Kaufusi.
Oregon, Jack and Toby probably 1.2m+

If AFB got hurt and BHU had left we might just need to run Rudolf and Hunt to start, or Rudolf and Kaufusi. So just similar boat to this year when one of the starters got hurt.
Fingers crossed any and all big money players and spine players and starters in general don’t spend too much time injured.

Agree with the end, don’t think anyone is leaving for AFB this year.

Yup. We have a bunch of mid range forwards in general. I'm not overly worried about that or even if we got an injury Most of them have injuries all year, every year to be honest. I'm not sure our "window" opens till 2025 anyway. Just my opinion. My wish for the team for 2024 is to make the top 4 and win a semi.

Baby steps.

The amount of effort I put into the Nikora train when everyone hated him.

And now I'm thinking it's not that far-fetched that we might trade him for AFB if the cards fell that way

I can't see the Sharks allowing that either. Wouldn't make sense to weaken one of the packs strengths.

Nikora is our best forward. No way we release him. As for Katoa, he is in way to good form to consider trying to move him on. Only players I would let go would be some of our middles, which would be to only strengthen that position.
