Tracey closer going to the Queens than the dogs.
He'd be smarter to do that if he has his eyes on regular NRL footy.

I don't see where he fits in at the 'Dogs other than doing what he does at the Sharks. Plug holes and get splinters in his arse

Yeah could do, I didn't think of that route, I actually quite like it although ties up a lot of money and talent in centres vs a potentially lacklustre spine.
If spine doesn't fire those centres won't be doing much for you.
Does conflict with article just posted which suggests Crichton to FB, obviously - that could be false or still change though

On Kiraz, there were suggestions he doesn't like playing wing, feels like he is used as a battering ram and doesn't think it's what he wants to be doing if he wants a long NRL career. Given he is also a good centre it could see him named at centre or leave.
Of course these things can always be patched over, misunderstood, or just blatantly false
Yeah with a combination of halves like Sexton/Hutchinson/Taaffe it has question marks over it. It doesn’t overly really scream much better than what they have had in the past Wakeham/Flanno/Burton and whoever else etc. Hutchinson and Taafe have showed glimpses and Sexton is only young I suppose.

I do remember seeing that on Kiraz. Probably going to be one of them situations like Corey Oates wanting to be a backrower, you’ll play where it’s best for the team or miss out.

Yeah, I mean, no club uses a centre as a battering ram...

And eventually go grovelling back to your wing

Ducks and drakes.

Here's the story for what it's worth

Why Dogs’ superstar could make shock positional switch as halves headache emerges

Fox League from Fox Sports
November 21st, 2023 10:58 am

The Bulldogs are reportedly considering a shock positional switch for superstar Matt Burton, with the five-eighth potentially moving back to the centres.

The Daily Telegraph is reporting the club’s coaching staff are considering the move but it will hinge on the player’s who can take his place.
Burton has played 47 games for the Bulldogs and hasn’t featured outside the No.6 and No.7 jerseys in Belmore.

However, he played 20 of his 32 games at centre for the Panthers and enjoyed success, scoring in the 2021 grand final win over the Rabbitohs in the position

Many consider Burton’s running ability the best part of his game, which has been supressed during his time playing in the halves.

However, a move to the centres could also see his kicking duties reduced, possessing one of the most dangerous bombs in the NRL.
If the move eventuates, Cameron Ciraldo will have Toby Sexton, Drew Hutchison, Kurt Mann, Jaeman Salmon and Blake Taaffe all available to play in the halves.

Reports also suggest star recruit Stephen Crichton will wear the No.1 jersey in his first season at the Belmore-based club.
If only he could play in one of the halves positions as a running half...

Bradman Best has rejected the tigers offer. They’re now going all out for Olam for next season and Suli for the year after.

I dunno what it is with the Sharks signing big unit Polynesian forwards that have the aggression of a pussy cat

Sometimes you just need an angry sun burnt Queensland redneck like Chris Beattie that wants to bite your head off and piss down your throat

or at least some bloke down the pub that looks and talks like him

We don't need another Kafusi, Hunt or Tagatesi

This is on the coach to unlock this.

You either want a hunting pack or a working pack, Fitzgibbon has turned them into a working pack which is pretty silly because his pack gets hunted pretty easy

Tagataese used to nut the opposition for no particular reason and come off 2nd best.
