Absolutely. But also both grand final 5/8ths moving to struggling sides only helps balance the comp.Be another huge loss to Broncos too which I always love seeing

Yeah I think for what’s on the market atm Luai is the player Tigers need to land. I hope they get himAbsolutely. But also both grand final 5/8ths moving to struggling sides only helps balance the comp.
Yep sort of like Pamfers took the Broncos Title shot win imho, now they drop away. Much like we did to the Raiders, which they never really grasped again in the short termBe another huge loss to Broncos too which I always love seeing
Na - Roosters syndrome will kick in here .Ezra leaving to the phins would be great for the league as a whole.
They have supposedly the best up and coming 5/8 on their books already and early suggestion is he is a legit chance to start the season if first grade.Yeah I think for what’s on the market atm Luai is the player Tigers need to land. I hope they get him
Where did you see this mate? They have supposedly the best up and coming 5/8 on their books already and early suggestion is he is a legit chance to start the season if first grade.
How does that shake out to take a big money swing at Luai?
You'd want to see a bit more from Fainu I think before you blow the bank here and risk letting a top prospect walk to upgrade them ASAP at a huge cash deficit to your cap
In his nightly dreams.Where did you see this mate?
Yeah but can he sing like Mario Lanza and dance like Fred Astaire? What? It's not hard at all.
Fitz has 250+ NRL games, 5 grand finals, Clive Churchill and Wally Lewis medals, 15 tests and over 1500 points... and 90% of the forum says they know better than him on almost a daily basis.
I'd assume he is 3rd choice right now but it isn't insurmountable oppositionWhere did you see this mate?
Will be interesting. At least they have a decent pack which makes it a bit easier for a young half.I'd assume he is 3rd choice right now but it isn't insurmountable opposition
'We've signed halves': Benji reassures recruits as stars hit market
He's yet to decide what the combination will be but Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall is confident his mix of youth and experience will make for a competitive halves pairing in 2024.www.nrl.com
But Marshall said he will prioritise the recruits who are already impressing in pre-season, including the likes of Super League signing Aidan Sezer, Dragons young gun Jayden Sullivan, U/19's Origin star Latu Fainu and top 30 graduate Lachlan Galvin.
"All players that come into the market, you've got to have a look at, especially if they're marquee players," Marshall told the media on Friday.
"But we've signed halves, we've got four halves going into the season and we'll prioritise them at the moment.
"Jayden Sullivan is a really good buy, Latu Fainu has been really good for us and we’ve got guys like Lachie Galvin coming through too.
Good point - API is such a good player - so skillfull ..Will be interesting. At least they have a decent pack which makes it a bit easier for a young half.
Having Api there would also make a huge difference.
Yeah would love him in our team.Good point - API is such a good player - so skillfull ..
Tigers will end up with so many halves that they'll send the opposition dizzy with all their passing back and forwardI'd assume he is 3rd choice right now but it isn't insurmountable opposition

Well hopefully not too much of this oneTigers will end up with so many halves that they'll send the opposition dizzy with all their passing back and forward

I would honestly probably struggle to name 17 Tigers players so I don’t really know their depth or prospects. They have supposedly the best up and coming 5/8 on their books already and early suggestion is he is a legit chance to start the season if first grade.

Yeah - he was.I would honestly probably struggle to name 17 Tigers players so I don’t really know their depth or prospects.
If this Fainu you are talking about is similar to what we think of Dykes coming through for us, then yeah spending that much money on the same position might be a bit silly.
Just an outsider looking at them though with Sezer, Bula, Api and all their decent forwards, now adding an experienced rep 5/8 from that premiership winning Penrith system is that final touch where they start looking a little bit serious. Adding that bit of spark and winning flair they really need.
Benji might be worried where he’s thinking he needs a bit of early success too.
Interesting. Could be a 1 to 2, or even 3 year project filling in for injuries, 14 bench spot etc then becomes the full time 6.Yeah - he was.
Fainu is very young. I can see a pathway for him like Katoa at the Dolphins. Might move around a bit and be in and out of the squad, and ready to possibly be the main man in a couple of years.
