Hynes, Trindall, Puru, Atkinson, Dykes. I’d even have Tracey in there at 5/8 over this flog. So with that being said I really don’t see any need for him to play again. Unless yes we have a truckload of injuries.
You personally thinking he is flog doesn't actually affect Fitz depth chart though.
Based off last season he is well ahead of Puru and Atkinson, and Dykes is an unknown. All three could rise up to get in front of him but it's probably about as sure a thing as Brisbane winning the grand final when you called it.

Yep, there's literally nothing to lose by playing all them ahead of Moylan.

Better off giving a younger player a chance instead of a bloke playing in his last year.

Also Never said Brisbane would win. Tipped Penrith every chance I got.

There is literally football games to lose by not playing best player available?

You're right, you thought Penrith were going to blow it out not lose, I knew you backtracked on some midgame prediction or another, but I misremembered.

But to the point, if all these guys should be playing ahead of Moylan why don't they simply earn it?
Why is it Moylan needs to be cast out and branded never again for them to get ahead of him in the depth chart? If he is so **** shouldn't they come up and get in front of him themselves? And easily if they are going to be even half competent in the NRL?

We are specifically not 'better off giving a younger player a chance' if they can't earn it.

I hope some of the likes of Dykes, Atkinson and Puru can improve and get ahead of him. Even better if they can challenge or beat out Tricky!
I'm not even arguing it should be that hard, just that if they can't get in front of him on their own merit he should be considered for the jersey, not blacklisted to Newtown only.

It confuses me you guys simultaneously hate him so much you want literally anyone else played ahead of him but don't have the confidence in those players they can deserve to be, and to suggest we have nothing to lose by playing a player not better than 'terrible' Moylan?

I'm not particularly fond of Moylan's sharks career but I hope he has a cracking offseason for us fighting for his 6 jersey back.
So Dykes really has to come in firing to be the man actually fighting Trindall for the jersey.

It won't matter who plays 6 if the problems in the forwards are not addressed and fixed. This side is a million miles away from pressing for a premiership.

Any of the potential 6's mentioned could go well in a team going forward. Alone, they can't make much difference.

Would love one of our props to take a step up and become a notable forward in the NRL. Someone opposition fans mention as a danger. BHU probably has gotten the closest but hampered by injury. Some good glimpses in Tommy Hazelton.
if the middle can cut down, even slightly, on dumb errors that would help.

A bit less injury in the overall middle group would help also - although Dale may not be looking as good as I'd hoped, I suspect we are still a better side with him in a fully fit pack.

Our outside backs need to find some consistency - Ronnie, Ramien and Katoa all had stronger and quieter periods. Talakai ground out his meters and had some good touches in attacking play but was rarely 'damaging'. But it is hard for all backs to shine at same times and also when stuck doing the hard stuff too much.

Our spine should be better for the year and offseason to build off.
