Number 6 and skipper for Newtown - that is his option - his choice ..
Hopefully our coach sees that too and doesn’t bring him back in.
I think his option is compete for the 6 all preseason and try and win it back.
You may like to relegate Moylan to Cup only but Trindall never earnt the 6 jersey according to Fitz - he may have done well enough to hang onto it but Fitz said he wasn't happy with his Cup form but a change had to be made. Moylan and Dykes will push for that jersey.
If Trindall holds the jersey he will be better for the challenge than if everyone see's Moylan as 'Number 6 and skipper for Newtown'
I don't like Moylan for bench so in (a magical) fully fit 17 I'd be looking for him, Dykes, Tracey, Atkinson and maybe even Puru (if going well) rotating through 18th man, otherwise playing for Newtown.
If, for whatever reason, there are games we run a spine/back on bench then a forward should be 18th man

Kind of feels like if he's in a position to make a comeback the people who need to know about that will know about it.
Not sure how much expertise Rogers has in orthopedics to be diagnosing his shoulder should be better but some good out of the box thinking.

Hynes, Trindall, Puru, Atkinson, Dykes. I’d even have Tracey in there at 5/8 over this flog. So with that being said I really don’t see any need for him to play again. Unless yes we have a truckload of injuries.
