"Have it on pretty good authority that Connor Tracey is desperately trying to get out of his deal with Cronulla, however Cronulla refuse to let him leave as the belief around the squad is that Siosifa Talakai is the one being shopped around quietly and are hoping for his form to improve so they don't need to chip in too much. Cronulla aren't impressed with the way he has played since signing his big $ contract late last year after playing origin when his stock was quite high and are hoping to offload him. Parramatta had a verbal agreement with Tracey but have now cooled there interest due to Cronulla's unwillingness to let him go.

Where the story gets interesting is that if Talakai becomes available we're one of the clubs that'll throw our hats in the ring as we actually contacted his management last year before he re-signed.

Personally, if Sharks chip in I'd happily take Talakai off them. Tracey's frustrations is growing by the day though as he's 27 and wants to be playing NRL consistently. Either player would improve our outside back depth quite significantly".

the most wests tigers thing to do, would be aim for sifa talakai and end up with connor tracey

fingers crossed the aim for harry grant and end up with blayke brailey as well

To summarise some of the whispers, of various volume

  1. Iro to SL - reports multiple clubs interested but Castleford are a strong candidate and have just released Mahe Fonua immediately which opens a quota spot
  2. Moylan to Catalans - quota spots available via SST (rumoured to dogs 500k per season 2 years) and Tyrone May (rumoured return Penrith esp. if Luai to leave but Dogs also very interested)
  3. Talakai to Tigers - was previous suggestion they may target Tracey so if we have benched Sifa they could shift their attention. Seems unlikely we'd release Iro and Talakai though
  4. Finucane to Raiders - Bega connection and they have money, not much else to go on. Would actually work okay for us given two of our best forwards are also locks (and one of our best up and comers)
  5. Blore to Sharks - was said he is tossing up extension with them or sign with us
  6. Luai to Sharks - considered an attractive landing spot if forced out of Panthers, with them for next year (Moylan off after next year if doesn't leave early). Tigers, Dogs and Raiders (usual suspects it seems) also said to have expressed interest. Some say he would prefer us, some say he would prefer Ciraldo.

I completely missed the Luai to us rumour

Can't say I'd hate to have his defense but not offering the money that's been reported.

I would love to know who the f**k we have in place to replace Sifa because he’s been our best back not named Will Kennedy

If that story is true we have rocks in our heads

He only got dropped as collateral for Moylan which is even more sad
