Vikings deny Peachey rumour

WIDNES Vikings have denied rumours linking Australian fullback David Peachey with a move to Wigan Warriors.

Peachey has played just a handful of games for the Vikings after a distinguished career in the Australian NRL with Cronulla.

It was a surprise when he took up a contract with the Vikings despite their relegation to LHF Helathplan National League One at the end of last season.

With Kris Radlinski forced to retire through injury, a move for Peachey could make sense for Wigan who have lost four out of five games so far in the engage Super League.
