Bloke from Melbourne - backrower I think
Lewis made the transition from qualified school teacher to NRL player in 2020 and broke through to make his first-grade debut in the same season.

A recruit from Storm feeder side the Sunshine Coast Falcons, the Ashford Roosters junior earned his break after a stellar 2019 at state level which saw him claim the HOSTPLUS Cup’s Second-rower of the Year Award.

A standout 2021 season followed with the forward recording 20 games for the year, becoming a regular in Craig Bellamy’s bench rotation.

A regular within Melbourne Storm’s bench rotation during the second half of 2022, Lewis recorded a solid third season in the Melbourne forward pack.

Consistently bolstering the Club’s defence from the sideline, Lewis completed the season with 15 on-field appearances, one line-break assist and 218 tackles with a 95.6% efficiency. Notably, Round 12 saw the former teacher score his first try of the 2022 season, only one minute after entering the field from the interchange bench.

The 30-year-old also continued in his fifth season in the Queensland HostPlus Cup with the Sunshine Coast Falcons

Yeah maybe Brooks has learned how to pass and tackle and kick.

(All he has is a dummy).

Chris Lewis would be a smart signing. Same as Billy Burns. Cheap and can plug a hole if any injuries occur.

He’s just turned 28. What kind of deal would you offer? 3 years? 4 years? 5 years?

How did he pass the alleged no ******** policy? Wasn't he part of the trio photographed with "white powder" on a table a couple years ago?

Him, Munster and Cheese.

Played only 1 game of NRL in 2023. Might have been injured but was also on the nose with Bellyache.

Dud signing. Surely it's a Jets contract

For me would depend on if he can come in 2024 or if we wait for 2025. Finucane's reduction for 2025 surely comes into play. If we want to try and get him out for 2024 we need more money.

So, if we can get him I'd takeover the contract. Whatever is left on current. No consideration for extra years at this stage. Let him perform before extending

Forgot about that. It’s definitely going to be a depth signing similar to Billy Burns.

Depends if its the difference to get him here. I'd be quite comfortable with 4 years from this year. So one year extra. Probably 3 years from 2025.

I just have his habit of leaving every contract early in mind.
