just anticipating that there'll be a few different talking points from the Judiciary tonight regarding Ben Ross and whatsisname White.

Rather than starting 5 different threads, let's try and keep all the discussion here.

Easy way to earn 400K a year sitting on your arse supended for a cheap shot. What the hell was goin through that thick box head of his. Sometimes I just can't fatham the depths of stupidity in some players. He missed most of last year with injury and then comes out and pulls this **** and now will miss 10 or so weeks of this season. Hopefully Norrie and peek will step up to the plate and cement these spots. Weed Ross out recoup some of the money he hasn't earned over the last 2 years and put it into a player that will appreciate the chance to play first grade.

ross deserves some time off..8+ weeks is a joke but hey, ross the NRL's sacrificial lamb..thats what its going to be..but powderpuff white gets SFA for whacking a guy who is defenseless..yeah real brave...both deserve 7 weeks at most..not the crap there talking about..white 4..ross 8-10..rubbish, peak did the same thing on dykes last year only got 4, plus ross's silly cary over points and loading BS = 7 weeks...

Ross is only gonna cop it because of what has been happening in the first 2 rounds! and everyone kicking up a stink because of it

Ross will go for 7 weeks which is a HUGE loss...what a moron. And to think he is a professional sprotsman who depends on this game for his livelihood.
FYI, his contract provides for 1/26th of his wage to be deducted for any suspension. The sharks have not decided whether to enforce this clause. If he were suspended for 7 games the sharks could dock him $107,692 from his 400K package.

he deserves it for the sheer stupidity of his actions, he wont do it again in a hurry.

not to mention he has to learn to live on less than 400K (nearly 10% of our salary cap!) a season soon anyway

No one is disputing how dumb Ross was - but are you for real??
It had nothing to do with Brett White, he deserves a long sit on the sidelines too

hahahahhaha man i dont care i really dont like ross.... he broke kane cleal's jaw last year and was suspended 4 god knows how long then gets injured and now he plays 2 games and does something stupid... he is just wasting valuable money we can spend on smarter players that will play more games 4 us.... seriously though he is proving a waste of money....

yeah but im sure if his hands werent held white would have swung either way.... but yeah im not saying that cause ross was pinned down white had to hit him im saying in general if u were playing and a mate of urs got hit like that ud wanna do something about it too.... its a shame that ross's hands were tied back... i wasnt saying it like that i meant just for white swinging in general... if that makes sense...
