While we have the week off from NRL I am pretty pumped about our next 5 games. All are winnable except probably the storm (but we seem to always aim up against them) I think we can/should win 4 of these games which should put us into the top 4 or close to it.

What does everyone else think?

Bulldogs A
Broncos H (without origin players)
Storm A
Warriors A
Cowboys H

I’d say Win, Win, Loss, Win, Win

After this we have 4/6 games at home and the two away games are in Sydney. So really important we get a few wins in before the run home as we could potentially push for 2nd/3rd if we are good enough with the slip in form of the Rabbitohs and Roosters over origin.

I’d agree with that.
Its a good little run for SJ to get back into his groove heading into the run home and finals series.
Good time to push for a top 4 spot.

Broncos always give us trouble regardless. Not confident of beating the Storm in Melbourne either. Other 3 should be winnable.

Whether we win or lose really comes down to whether we can play for 80 minutes at a decent level.

Honestly every time we lose it's our own fault clearly.

I don't think once we've played for 80 minutes at a reasonable level and lost.

Yep.

I'd almost be happy to drop 4 of those games if we pumped Melbourne by 50 to help celebrate Carmen's 400th NRL game.

Broncos are in crisis mode and have so many injuries plus they will be missing the stars they do have for origin. Would be embarrassing to not put 30 on them

Almost every team will still have injuries and we will have our full compliment back on deck. If we are a chance this season we need to go 4/5 minimim.

I can see us winning all of them, but I can also see us losing them all. W,L,L,W,W. I am going to give it to the broncos because they’ve had the wood on us lately

Feels like we win each game that Moylan turns up in a good state of mind. The last couple of weeks we've won and lost on his performance.

You're blaming the loss to Canberra on him?

His first 30 minutes were disastrous
One could argue if he was on fire instead , we would have blitzed Raiders .
However he wasn't the only one to play crap that evening

Oh I'm not arguing he wasn't **** but he was hardly Pat Malone. The entire team sucked bottom in the first 30.

I'd be interested to know in another dimension where he catches the ball, how the team goes afterwards. It's like in pool when some ******** moves the balls on the table and you never really know how the tiny change can affect the outcome of the game. Like the butterfly effect. But yeah can't blame him for all of it, but he certainly shares responsibility.

It was the first time they had a full strength team all year and they had a point to prove at home. It was also our weakest team we put on the park all year. Of course we would get flogged :)

No mate, I wouldn't put the loss on his shoulders. More that a better quality game from Mozza is all we need to get wins out of close games like that one. And most games generally.

Note that the Melbourne game is a Saturday after Origin 3.

They have six players in Origin 2 (Chambers, Munster, Kaufusi, Glasby, Finucane, Addo-Carr) plus Welch as 18th man.

Not predicting a win - just throwing that info out there.
