its a great recruitment effort all things considered... i think all the accolades should go to Flanno for the recruitment .... considering its not the past successes of our club or the financial stability that is attracting these guys to us..

surely you can be more positive than that?? getting a good group of players to come to the sharks at present is a feat unto itself!
also i just renewed my membership - thought i would get in early before they announce signing carney and there is a rush of new members... ha ha!

while its great the players we got, todd carney, gibbs, fifita and degois fell into our lap
all players had contracts for next season, hell, de gois fifita and gibbs even extended at their present clubs
it was by chance that the players were released... i knoww there are alot of what if's thrown around
but
what if: adam blair had dogged the tigers and went to the roosters... we would have no gibbs and fifita, and our starting props would be ross and jon green, would you be optimistic then?
what if: wayne bennett told stinky that he didnt want danny buderus and wanted to keep isaac??
what if: the roosters kept carney, or carney went to france
again, i am ecstatic that these players came to the club, but no celelbration party should happen

gallop was on mmm talking to ray warren, said he had talked to carney about 3 weeks ago about going to "a" particular club that had confirmed their interest in him. also in the conversation was that gallop was going on holidays.
