great course, in top condition, it's open so it's good for a hacker like me, plenty of bunkers though and a lot of holes have bunkers at the front of the green

Only $66 for 2 people for 18 holes during the week which includes a cart and a beer

That's a good price, might have a lash when the weather cools down a bit. Not a fan of playing in the heat.

I've heard that's not a bad course, what did you think of it?

Also I see we now have two Aussies in the top 5, that doesn't happen very often.

I know, how good is that, maybe this might spur Scott on to greater golf, I know the yanky players wouldnt enjoy having two aussies in the top 5.

Jason Day killing it at the Masters. Just had five birdies in a row to be 6 under with two holes to play.

Yeah he out on 4 shots from when I left home to getting to work. Dropped a shot at the 17th but very well placed.

Speith is an amazing golfer at just 21. I will say though that a lot went his way today, in fact pretty much everything. Surely that can't last for another three rounds?

Golfmart has a pretty good sale on atm. Went and bought 24 Srixon balls for $28 at lunch.

Play at The Vintage and you'll be buying more balls after 9 holes

Played there a few years ago, good course. Actually you're pretty lucky up your way, quite a few good courses.

Anyone played at Stonecutters Ridge near Quakers Hill?

Just booked a round at Camden Lakeside for Thursday 21/5. Still have the $35 offer, can't complain about that. Also playing on the Friday but haven't decided where yet.

Thinking one of these for the Friday.

  • New Brighton - $20 per round incl. cart
  • Lynnwood - $40 per round incl. cart
  • Strathfield - $30 per round incl. cart
  • Glenmore - $35 per round.
  • Liverpool - $30 per round incl. cart

Good prices hb

Yeah I thought the same. If you look around there are some really good prices for weekdays.

Was thinking of having a round at Bonville while I'm up visiting Mum in a couple of weeks but too pricey for me at $120 per round.

Geez, that'd want to include lunch and a 6 pack for that price

Out of those I have played at Strathfield & Liverpool, IMO Liverpool is the better of the two by a long way, only played Strathfield once.

Can't remember which holes but there are a few where you are in the s#*t if you don't pay due dillegence or "course management" (play certain holes down one side or if you are going to miss from the tee you need to make sure you miss to the right side)
