The fact is that when he hit Brooke the headlines n articles read CRONULLA SHARKS, when Seymour did that ****, he was in no way linked to the club. The media n **** that come from such scandals is crazy, he woulda been sacked for the fact he made the club look bad as well as the act. Doesnt mean the sharks are hypocrits by signing another woman beater, he did that on Broncos time, they dealt with him

Thats it, the fact he was found not guilty means he has a clean record, the record doesnt state that he glassed her, although it dont take a genious to see wat happened that night, the fact is he has no criminal charges, has dented his reputation tho

Manly fullback Brett Stewart is free to play in the Sea Eagles' first two games of the NRL premiership season, after his committal case was adjourned until March 22.

Sexual assault charges against Stewart are pending, with the player due back in court on March 22 after Deputy Chief Magistrate Paul Cloran adjourned the hearing at Downing Centre Local Court in Sydney.
The former Australia No.1 is accused of having sexual intercourse, involving digital penetration, with a 17-year-old female from Sydney's Northern Beaches without her consent on March 6, 2009 - hours after Manly's infamous season launch.

He is also charged with assault with an act of indecency after he allegedly "forced his tongue into her mouth".

Stewart denies both allegations.

Sea Eagles officials said after the hearing that they would allow Stewart to continue playing.

There has been no plea entered to my knowledge, however if there has been, I can guarantee you that the plea was not "innocent"
