This drama may go as far as causing a small conflict between the 2 nations! Who would have thought this was going to go this far when it happened a few days ago.

Lets go Kokkinakis! His 1st ever title win ironically in front of his home crowd in Adelaide.

Djokovic will be gone tomorrow, surely the Australian court won't allow him to stay in Australia when he's done numerous wrong things, illegally entered Spain too.

While it may be the right call not to allow Novak to play/stay in the country ect unfortunately this feels like posturing from the government to make them look like they have a tough stance with the world watching

My mate runs an Air BNB and has overseas visitors come in every week to stay in his apartment who have had no RAT or PCR test and providing proof of vaccination has been unclear plus no quarantine requirement prior to entering country.

Not to mention we don't have a vaccine mandate in this country so yea this whole thing reeks of inconsistency and is just a circus.

I get the Aus Open doesn't want an unvaxed player to potentially bring down the tournament and cost them money but this was the governments call not theirs

At least someone other than Novak has a chance to win the Aus Open now

Was a complete debacle from everyone involved. I'm glad the knob jockey is getting kicked out but we didn't cover ourselves in glory here, very embarrassing.

Yep, very messy. And the argument about his possibly inciting anti-vaxxers was a weird narrative to pick, when they could have just rubbed his nose in what a douchebag he is even more with the application issues and not-giving-a-phuck about anyone elses safety.

Yeah, I think the declaring false info on the entry from argument would have more meat too.

Yeah same here, funny fuckers when they get worked up.
Easiest people to get gee'd up & as you say its funny as.

2nd easiest are Croatians and equally as funny.

Do not wind them up together, trust me. It's hilarious but can get outta hand pretty quick.
