Martin Hosking Sorro Garner…. I don’t think they would be finding too much money for an edge
Yeah they play Salmon there sometimes which isn’t ideal but he’s on the bench for his versatility so Wilton wouldn’t get ahead of him either

Edit: Just saw mention of sorro signing with Knights, makes it semi more likely but wouldn’t they be better off just fighting to keep him? Surely he doesn’t cost more than Wilton?

They're also trying to keep Edwards and Luai, don't know how they can get Wilton.

I don’t see how they can keep both but time will tell. Edwards for me is who the one I wouldn’t considering letting go.

Luai is nothing special. Will be easily replaced imo within the Penrith system.

This is the thing though, apparently they have some gun fullbacks coming through but not a lot as far as 5/8s go.

That winger they’ve got Turuva I think is his name. Holy **** that guy has the potential to be a superstar fullback. If Edwards re signs I wouldn’t be surprised if another club tries to get him to play in the 1 jersey.

I don't know how much Garner is on, but they might try to offload him as well.

Would love to see some actual figures. I can't believe Newcastle are spending that much more on Sorro than Teig would be valued at.

In my mind, Teig would be around $100k less than whatever Newy are offering Sorro.
