He was wearing his toyota cup gear, but was 18th man. They put Buyaka ahead of him in an attempt to fire him up and prove them wrong.

as much as i hate to say it, and i know im gunna cop it, but, Gall and birdy had very ordinary games. each of them let in a try by not sliding and they just seemed a bit flat.

no one can hold there heads high..pathetic display, hope ricky gave them a huge spray for that disgusting effort..

oh and sonny bill is a wanker..end of story

LOL, I tell you what, If SBW ditches the bulldogs, I will use that comment as my signature.

But all be it he is on very thin ice I will still defend him as long as he wears the blue and white and tears teams to shreds and makes them look ordinary as he did to the sharks last night, I will defend the guy.:nodlaugh:cheers

maybe because ross just came back from suspension and bird doesnt want to ruin his rep chances and sharks' chances by letting his team mates down

Welcome to Emu Plains, please be sure to visit our
Douglas is a farken penalty machine. Three offsides in a row. Mitch Brown gave them their first with a terrible defensive read.

Kearny off injured isnt a good sign. Simmo playing well at FB though.

douglas needs a rest..he is very fatigued during games now and hence being caught in no mans land between marker and the defensive line..and he is a prop not a 2nd rower

League: Sonny Bill stars in Bulldogs' win over Sharks

Looking to get out of his five year, two million dollar deal with the Bulldogs, Sonny Bill Williams has had other things on his mind lately, but against the Sharks he was all business.

That was not the first time Williams had the referee's attention.

Offensively Williams was one of the Bulldogs' best as they beat the Sharks 30-22.

Later he downplayed the impasse with the club, and his reported preference to change codes to the fifteen-a-side game, for more money in Europe.

Williams' offloads are one of his trademarks, and he too had a hand in arguably the best try of the game.

The big question now is whether he will stay or go?

Ricky said something that I hope Ben Ross and Greg Bird take on board. In situations like that, it's braver to not react.

However ... read on below.

Or something like that.

Think about it. Greg Bird throws a punch, and gets 10. We're already too many points behind to be one man down. Ben Ross throws a punch in his first week back from a long suspension, he would probably get sent.

Oh, and apparently Sonny Bill didn't get 10 because the punch was either bloked or was going to miss. So says the paper.

I bloody wwell wish Simmons would be the slightest bit agro. Far out, he got rag dolled, with the guy holding his head and swinging him around. How did he react? He got up, let the ref do his thing (which was nothing really) then walked back to his line looking at his feet.

Later on there was another overly agro tackle on him, he didn't even give a little push after playing the ball. I bet he didn't even say anything. I respect that his faith is probably making him want to react positively rather than negativelyt, but I think he needs to learn a lesson from Jason Stevens in how to be a suitably agro Christian. I'd like to see him unleash a bit of Jesus-clearing-the-temple agro on someone for once.
