Tight game played in typical british summer weather (drizzle) making handling tricky but Swinton adapted slightly better to record the double over us

Great game played in great weather with at the end a great result for the Scorps beatin a team higher in league than them and coming back from a 12 - 0 poor start ...things looking bright again in Sth Wales

Well chaps this week saw the Scorpions take a bugger of a trip up to the far north of England to take on Workington and im afraid the trip home wasnt going to be a happy one

A definate game of two halves as we played really well in the first half to lead 16 - 10 at the break but then after the break a totally different story as we crumbled to lose heavily .....next week is a must win game at home to gateshead if we are to hanker any thoughts of the play offs

Well chaps n chapesses back to winning ways this week even tho we are down to thebare bones of the squad thanks to Injuries and Suspensions ...but good job we were up against Basement dwellers Gateshead , but saying that all credit to them they never once gave up and fought right to the end , before an 8 hr coach journey home on a bus with no air con ... any way the result lol

So there ends our very first season in Rugby league ...didnt do bad for a team only put together in Jan and made up of 80% local welsh players ...the lads have a lot to be pleased and proud of ...onwards and upwards eh lol

Well we will be lookin for a new Coach in 2011 as our award winning coach of this year Anthony Seibold is comin back to Aus to be head coach at Mackay Cutters be a big paidr of boots to fill for us but I wish him all the best back home

A rusty lookin Sth Wales team lost to Dewsbury from a League above and the gap was for all to see today , they were stronger , sharper and looked more on the ball than us but this was our first competative game of the season following only 2 pre season games and this was Dewsburys 7th game , but saying that i still think we would have lost to the better team , lets just hope we can put this down as a one off and re group for first league game next Sunday ...
