Hey SF, the original email I logged on to this site many years ago is now disabled and no longer works.

Will that be a problem with this update?

I reckon as long as you remember your username (Chad) and password you'll be right.

You can change your Email address if you want though. Just click "My Profile" at the top right, and then hover over and click this little pencil. You should be able to change your Email address in there.

If that's too hard, PM me your new Email address and I'll update it for you :)

I logged out for the 1st in what must be forever, and took 4 of my 5 attempts to get back in lol.

Used a password that has been out of circulation for a over a decade.

Updated email, updated password.

Currently preparing an artistic photo of my penis, so I'm all set for the new forum

Thanks all, and thanks for those who've answered the questions. As long as you know your username and password, then the email address is not so important.

But you can edit your email and password on this page:

http://www.sharksforever.com/forums/profile.php?do=editprofile

Or direct link: http://www.sharksforever.com/forums/profile.php?do=editpassword

If looking for it in the menu, it's at the top right of the desktop menu under "Settings", then "Edit Profile" in the left menu.

It's so buried away, that's the sort of thing I hope will be a little easier in the new version!

If there are issues with logins after the migration, we can still find a way to work it out too... I doubt there's a whole horde of people out there waiting to claim someone's account :)

Hi all, hopefully the main part of the migration is over now. There are a few key points:
  • Emails (including registration/password reset) are not currently working. Hopefully that will be sorted later today (Sunday), but waiting for hosting provider for permissions.
  • The DNS records are proving quite slow to update. If you go to www.sharksforever.com, you may see the old site.
  • The new main URL is https://sharksforever.com - hopefully all the other URL combos will redirect OK once DNS updates
  • Any bookmarks you had may no longer work. I have not had a chance to look at redirects yet.
Thanks everyone for your patience and understanding today. My timing isn't the greatest, as I've got a fairly busy Sunday aside from this, so there may be a day or two where things are a bit in limbo. But I will get things sorted soon.

If you can't login, or are seeing other big issues, please email me at: webmaster@sharksforever.com

:)💤

Is there a way to change the mobile view to desktop view?

I’ve looked around and can’t find it.

Using Firefox browser on iOS.

Or has the entire forum design changed?

Yeah it has changed a fair bit, and the theme is now responsive where it automatically adapts to screen size.

Once things are settled I could make a desktop-only theme, that stays fixed on desktop view.

There are also some tweaks I want to make, to make the mobile view more readable.
