Mulitalo apparently played centre through grades, play him there and give Stonestreet a shot on the wing

Talakai to left back row, make him an enforcer, he would've gave SJ a good hit and then been in his head. You can see at times he wants to come out and put on a big hit, but hes out on the edge in the centres.

Wilton off the bench for high workrate, mobility and intensity in the middle which is where we have issues during game. I think a lock, two props and a backrower is needed on the bench if theyre not opting to use a utility at dummy half or at lock during game, i dont want to see another game with a bench player not being used, waste

If Wilton struggling with defense in backrow how much better will Talakai fare?

Sifa had 3 try assists last night and makes metres every week. Think we need a clear better option before he is shifted but at this point I'm open to try things cause that edge is fded in D

Not so much Wilton struggling with D, Talakai offers a bit more with passing, offloads and drawing in defenders because he's hard to put down. It may also be better for him to defend in that position being closer to the middle, he can target the opposition 6 or 7. That left side needs an enforcer, the right side has Nikora who is developing into one.

We also need mobility and someone that puts in a high work rate off the bench, another McInnes type role, and Wilton can do that. Have two props for impact, like Hunt and Kaufusi, then you have two mobile workhorse locks with Mcinnes and Wilton. Wilton can also cover the backrow if any injuries.

Williams needs more game time in reserve grade, he was out for a long time. Let him get more minutes there and get back to form.

Have someone else fill left centre while its still early in the season, who knows they might rip in and be a gun given the opportunity.

But anyway, it'll be the same team list, with Graham and Kaufusi back for round 7. Our bench middles wont be fit, except for Mcinnis. Kaufusi, Graham, Hunt and Williams will struggle to keep up against Roosters

Plus it allows Talaki to go back to bench impact, removing William's who is just a passenger from the bench
Williams doesn’t look fit to me. Needs a month or so back in nsw cup imo. Play him at lock for Newtown and smash out 65 minutes. See where he’s at then.

Ive never been a Williams fan mate
All the hype as Gallens 'hand picked' heir to the #13 amounted to nothing.
Too small for front row
Not fast enough to add impact
And feet for hands so cant be a ballplaying forward
Hes SL quality at best much like Magoulis was/is

Yeah he hasn’t progressed anywhere near what a lot of us thought he would. Which is a shame. Did have a good season a few years back but other than that has been just an average player.
Wouldn’t care if he left after this year to another club.

Story of our whole pack atm hey. So many have looked good and shown promise, but never kicked on to the heights expected.

Thought after Uele made his debut for the kiwis he would be the one to take over from Fifita and become an absolute gun for us.

Our pack is soft. Has no mongrel about it whatsoever. Filled with too many ‘nice guys’.

And yet i feel that Uele, Hunt and Wilton in the Penrith, Storm or Chooks system would be world beaters.
Problem with Sharks is that the fans accept mediocrity too often and settle for simply playing finals football, when finishing 8th is no achievement to write home about.

You think that the problem with an NRL team is that the opinion of their fans is too soft?

Agree

Big batch of these players by now need to be stepping up or we need to look elsewhere… I swear some of these players have been at the club for over 5 years now with minimal results

You'd be right.

Uele - 6th year
Williams - 6th year
Hunt - 4th year
Rudolf - 4th year.
