he slapped someone as xavier savage scored

also, for someone who is supposed to be our intimidator, he is about as scary as a build a bear

got his fat contract and became a complacent waste of space again

I always feel like he doesn't have the same impact on the edge.

I like him much more when he comes from the bench and plays some middle.

I didn't like the way he's being used. He's running Nikora's old line back in on the angle, with the same result

Yep. Start him on bench and put him in the middle. By the time he gets the ball from the halves the defence are up onto him.

williams sucks as a starter

Here's a chance for him to show the new and improved Williams can also be a good starter
(did start one game back in round 6 on edge)
Has earned the chance to start I think given his pretty good and consistent form

But yes if he plays noticeably worse than he has been during this chance the bench is probably the spot for him going forward.

No Williams has been one of our best this year and deserves his starting spot.

He is noticeably much less effective as a starter. What he’s doing off the bench is working for him so I’d be a bit hesitant to **** around with that formula. I agree with Snowman, start Talakai at lock instead.

In the past - may still be the case, may not. Looks like we will get to see.
Especially from coaches point of view makes sense to pick the player who has been good for him not leave them on the bench because they were a bit less effective the year before when he wasn't even coaching here.

Fifita has previously put in some decent games as a starter, doesn't mean it should be him there instead.

Let's give Jack a chance, if he doesn't do well banish him to interchange until a chance pops up next year and he is the one who deserves it again.

He's started one game this year so saying he's less effective as a starter you're using last years games as evidence of this ?

If so you're ignoring how much he's improved this year and making almost no errors and actually reaching his potential. Give him a shot at lock. It's likely only one game anyway till Tolman is back.

Defn him over Talakai for now. Besides Talakai has been gross the last few weeks.

William Kennedy sucked as a starter. Sometimes players get better.
Jack's got the form on our other forwards. He deserves a crack.

Will has improved far more in a lot less time. I still think jack has something to offer. He is getting so much experience atm. Just hoping something can click for him and he takes off. Kind of like Soreson, all the natural ability in the world, just need to make it happen

Will also played 80 mins each week, to be fair. (Not that I'd expect that from Jack!)

We starting to see something more from him, while our other forwards seemed to have plateued. He's earned a start, and our staring forwards might benefit from the competition... Or rest. Or even less minutes
